NZFW 2018 WRAPUP
@albaandi
Phew! New Zealand Fashion Week has now come to an end and as always it was such a busy week, but always so much fun to be had! This year was a little different for me being 34 weeks pregnant, everything was much more of a challenge (including getting dressed!) and I couldn’t attend as many shows as I wanted to. Netherless here’s my wrap up from the couple of days I spent down there, featuring all the fashion highlights and some of the lovely ladies I caught up with. Enjoy!

DAY 2 WRAPUP
My day started…
At 7am getting Alba ready for Kindy, dropping her off, grabbing a quick coffee from my local before heading over to the beautiful Mavala Event hosted by The Generalist PR. Before making my way down to the viaduct events center to pick up my fashion week passes.
Designers showing:
Twenty Seven Names, Rachel Mills, Swim And Activewear Collective, Hailwood and Lela Jacobs.
Shows I attended:
Front row at the Swim Show.
Fave show of the day:
Twenty Seven Names, held at the Showroom22 space down on Beaumont Street. A playful collection, with pops of pink and gorgeous floral prints that twenty-seven names always does so well.
Biggest trends I saw from the day:
Lots of colour and lots of floral!
Events I attended:
Mavala Nail Morning Tea, hosted by the Generalist PR
What I ate/drank…
Had the most amazing lunch at Feriza’s with @blessedindoubles and @mandyduncan catching up on all things fashion and momlife!

What I wore…
Checked blazer and maxi dress both from Zara, Rose tinted shades from Chloe and Laser cut wedges also from Chloe. Bag Gucci.

DAY 3 WRAPUP

My day started…
At 7am getting Alba ready for Kindy, dropping her off, followed by a quick breakfast at home before finishing off some content work and emails then heading down to NZFW to meet my sister who was walking in the shows.
Designers showing:
Kiri Nathan, New Gen Show, Wyn Hamlyn, Georgia Alice, Kathryn Wilson, and Stolen Girlfriends Club.
Shows I attended:
Front row at the New Gen Show.
Biggest trends I saw from the day:
Feminine silhouettes, frills and lots of beautiful shirting!
Events I attended:
The opening of the new Flagship H&M store at Commercial Bay. Which was such a fun event! The place was packed full of Bloggers and Influencers and NZ Celebs. There were so many amazing pieces available and I picked up some beautiful new things for Me, Alba and the new babe.
What I ate/drank…
I stopped for coffee and cake at Baduzzi before the show. Had the most amazing Lemon Cream cake and as always, the coffee there was amazing!
Who I bumped into…
Caught up with the lovely Ash Owens and the Serendipity babes at the H&M launch. Also Beth Morris from @themorrismobb and Kellie Pardoe.
What I wore…
Day 3 was all about comfort! I had a long day ahead with Fashion Week then the H&M store opening and of course being 35 weeks pregnant meant I opted for some comfy black suede boots from Isabel Marant. I teamed them up with some Country Road leather leggings and a gorgeous silk Miss Crabb blouse which was so comfy over the bump!
