Inside her wardrobe: Alba Marie Lee from @albaandi

Introducing Alba a very headstrong, smart and creative little 2 year old. Half KOREAN and half KIWI mix, this little babe has inherited her Mommy’s interest in all things FASHION! Since she learned to walk, she has loved parading around the house in mommy’s heels and dressing up in all of her hats, bags, scarves you name it! Everyone meet ALBA xx
How old is Alba?
Alba is two but will be turning three in January!
Her favourite colour?
Alba’s favourite colour is purple. Which thankfully really suits her! We have been lucky with all the gorgeous mauve and dusty lilac tones that have been around for the last few seasons.
Top 3 fashion brands?
Country Road has the cutest range and the quality is really good. We love Ralph lauren from Smith and Caugheys so she can match with Mommy and Daddy on the weekends. I also cannot go past our absolute favourite, Zimmermann! For that special piece for a birthday party or celebration.
Most worn item in her wardrobe?
Ahhh that would definately be a pink Cotton On tutu skirt with sequins all over it. She would wear this everyday if she could. Which she often does, lucky it washes so well!
Girly girl or tomboy?
Both! Alba loves to play dressups with Mommy but is also very rambunctious and loves playfighting and playing outdoors for hours, much like me when I was little.
Top 3 physical stores in NZ?
We love Mummum in Takapuna, they have the best selection of brands and beautiful gifts. We also always find something (usually too much!) at the beautiful Little Trelise store in Parnell, such a fun store to visit! Smith and Caughey’s is an all time favourite with the most amazing floor dedicated to Childrenswear and toys, there is just so much to choose from, always a wonderful experience!
Top 3 online stores?
Little Bambinos is an all time favourite, it hosts all the beautiful European and Swedish brands such as MarMar Copenhagen and Donsje Amsterdam. Cute Baby NZ also have an amazing selection with so many top quality kids brands to choose from. We also love Jamie Kay, she does beautiful basics in the softest colour palettes.
Is Alba a Mommy’s girl or Daddy’s girl?
Daddy’s girl all the way! Alba will give me such a hard time but is always so well behaved for her Daddy. When he’s home she’s obsessed with him and follows him around everywhere and loves to play in his wardrobe. Pulling down all of his shoes and shirts.
Favourite place to visit?
Alba loves to spend the day in Takapuna. We will stop by Daddy’s office for a visit, walk around the shops, go grab an icecream at Movenpick and then head down to the beach for a walk along the sand, always finishing off with a little play at the beachside playground. Takapuna is truly such a great place to visit with kids.
One item she can’t live without?
Shoes! She’s Obsessed! First thing she likes to do when she wakes up at 5.55am (yup early riser) is to grab her closest pair of shoes and proceed to put them on. She has been known to wake up in the middle of the night as well to put them on in the dark then hop back into bed!
