Last month we met with our gorgeous friends Sunny and Jessie @sunnyandjessie for a little play-date with Alba and me. Although to be honest there wasn’t actually much playing involved! More just food and shopping, but hey us mamas need to have Mommy dates to you know!
As most of you have probably noticed, both me and Alba have a massive sweet tooth and there is nothing we love more than to head to an amazing cafe for some yummy morning tea! As we had planned to visit Little Trelise in Parnell with the girls we decided to try Winona Forever cafe also in Parnell. I’ve heard the most amazing things about this cafe and our tummies were very excited to finally try!
As soon as we entered the busy cafe our senses were overloaded with the delicious aroma of creamy coffee beans, the most amazing assortment of cakes and treats were on display and the most prettiest of floral arrangements were scattered throughout the cafe tables.
Sunny and Jessie arrived soon after and although this was our first time to meet, we all instantly hit it off. Within minutes we were already chatting like old friends! The girls were also so cute together – a little shy at first, but once we sat down and chose some yummy treats they were both busy chatting away together.
It was so hard to decide on food as both the menu and cabinet food all sounded and looked so delicious! I settled on a mochaccino and grilled chicken sandwich on turkish bread and Alba a baby chino and a big slice of the pink lamington cake. My sandwich was filled to the brim with avocado, camembert, fresh salad and perfectly grilled chicken, and Alba’s lamington which I knew I would end up finishing, was absolute heaven! Sooo good!
I totally recommend making the trip to this cafe, their perfectly brewed coffee and all the beautiful sweet treats on offer means you will not go home disappointed!

After our treats, we made our way up to the Trelise Cooper store in Parnell. It was our first time visiting this beautiful store and both me and Alba were super excited!
The entrance to the Little Trelise store is ‘oh so whimsical’! Resembling a magical fairy tunnel, the arched walkway is adorned with hundreds of fairy lights leading down into a gorgeous, little girls haven. I’m sure every little one who has ever visited the store must have ran up and down this little ramp numerous times taking in all the enchantment!
The beautiful store itself is packed full of amazing pieces for your mini fashionista. So many beautiful fabrics and colours hanging from the racks as well as such an impressive array of accessories.
Alba was right in her element and immediately started pulling looks from the racks to try, I wonder where she learnt that from? Hehe. The girls loved trying on outfits together, but I’m sure the highlight for them was eating lollies from the big glass lolly jar sitting on the counter. The service here is absolutley wonderful and we both took home some really beautiful pieces.
We had such a blast on our little play-date with Sunny and Jessie and we cannot wait until our next one!! Maybe next time we will plan to do a little more playing xx
