A few times a year I am lucky enough to be invited to experience a luxurious facial with Estée Lauder…
I have used so many different skincare ranges over the years from Clinique to Lancôme and La Mer as well as medical grade brands such as Environ and Osmosis. Out of all the ranges I have tried my top 2 favourites for immediate and long lasting results are without a doubt Osmosis and Estée Lauder.
My Fiancés Mother first introduced me to this range about 3 years ago and since then I have become hooked. Slowly building up my collection of products, as lets be honest this range is not cheap. But the results are so worth it! I have recommended this range to many of my friends now and they are all loving the noticeable improvements they’ve also had to their skin. You’ve probably seen lots of hype over the last couple of months on Instagram, with bloggers, influencers and NZ celebs all getting on board to share their love for the brand. But I can honestly say as a devoted user of Estée Lauder this is one brand that lives up to the hype.
The Facials they host at Estée Lauder counters in Farmers are such a treat and I look forward to them like crazy. 45 minutes of pure bliss, tailored to your skins needs. The cost is $80 redeemable on product which means if you make a purchase of $80 or more, then the Facial is free. My lovely Facialist’s name is Aleisha and she is incredible! With over 10 years experience in the Industry she is highly skilled and this lovely lady seriously gives the BEST facial massage ever.
My facial starts with being greeted at the counter by the lovely Beauty Manager and then being whisked away to their Private Beauty room. Tranquil music is playing, candles are lit and I am immediately sent into relax mode. I strip down to my bra and jeans and cocoon myself into the warm towels and blankets draped over the beauty bed. Aleisha asks me about my skin concerns and current skincare routine before removing my makeup to take a closer look. My current concerns are: dryness and first signs of ageing plus congestion around the chin (usually hormonal). My makeup is then melted away using the most beautiful cleansing balm, infused with lavender and chamomile, one word HEAVEN. In the next 45 minutes I am exfoliated, masked, massaged (including neck, chest and arms) and loaded with just the right amount of luxurious facial oils and serums bursting with antioxidants and vitamins. Feeling very zen, chilled and almost asleep, the facial comes to an end and I mentally transport myself back to reality. I am left with a cool jug of lemon/cucumber water, some Ferrero Rochers plus a few other goodies too!
After I force myself up and back into my winter layers, I head to the Beauty Counter to choose some new products. My Facialist will always recommend a regime for at home and this time she surprisingly suggests I keep up the good work with what I’m already doing. Phew no new products necessary! She does introduce me to the latest eyecream from their ANR range though as she knows the undereye area is my biggest concern. I’m a sucker for trying new eye creams – so of course I’m interested!
Products I decided to take home with me, were two of my favourites I had just run out of. 1. Estee Lauder Revitalising Supreme Anti Aging Cell Power Creme, 50ml $164 This is a luxurious moisturiser I religiously use every night and sometimes during the day when I want something extra hydrating. 2. Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Eye Gelee $114 this is my favourite eye cream to date and the second time I have purchased this product. It’s a beautifully hydrating eye cream with a built in massaging tip which has a lovely cooling touch to the skin. Lastly I had to try the new eye cream that she recommended, Estee Lauder ANR Eye Concentrate Matrix, 15ml $138 a spin off from the much loved ANR facial serum, this powerful eye serum promises to deliver a more refreshed, renewed, wide eye effect – will keep you posted on results!
I left feeling serene, with glowing skin and armed with my skincare essentials I was ready to take on the day! I.e(Mountain of washing sitting at home waiting to be folded) I highly recommend if you are new to trying Estée Lauder to book into one of these Facials. Talk to the lovely Beauty Associates on counter and ask to put your name down to be called, the bookings are very limited so best to express your interest early. Overall a great way to be introduced to the brand and all their gorgeous products on offer or for a die hard Estée Lauder fan as a luxurious 45 min escape from your busy day.
